Nottingham Life Drawing

The plan was to stick to ink, and have a go at pure black shadow areas, with no cross hatching for shading. The first drawings are 1 minute poses, so no time for anything other than straight drawing, which I did in ink.

Then on to the five minute poses, which I quickly sketched in pencil and then used ink.

The ten minute pose allowed a bit more time for careful sketching and adding the shadow areas.

Then a lying down pose for twenty minutes, with extreme foreshortening, and I couldn't see how to make it work with extreme shadow shapes, so just did it in pencil.

And then another twenty minute pose where the shadow shapes looked good...

We finished up with some two minute poses
